Conflicts-of-interest
I write my content for my own amusement, but I am putting a general disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest here; if I have any financial interest in a particular issue, I will make a good-faith effort to disclose such. Currently (10 Jan 2023) my only financial investments are in US Government Bonds.

Privacy
This website operates under, and complies with, the laws & regulations of the United States of America and the State of New Jersey (read: I have no idea if I’m in compliance with the GDPR, as I don’t operate this site in the EU). I make my best effort to minimize the collection of any data, however, because I hate how invasive the internet has become. To that end, this site operates only one tracking function (google analytics). There may be some incidental/technical data collection (e.g. IP addresses in server logs), but these are not retained. There may also be some incidental cookies if you go poking around in places you aren’t supposed to be (e.g. the login page).
To the best of my knowledge, no other information is collected about you. I also do not share any of the (limited) data this site may generate. You can also request that we erase any of this limited data I hold about you. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. I will make a good faith effort to do so, should you make such a request.
You should also know that pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, tweets, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
If you contact me directly (e.g. by email), then you should have no expectation of/to privacy.
